This improved PocketRocket® stove offers premium features, including a pressure regulator that makes it ideal for all-condition use, consistently achieving faster boil times than unregulated canister stoves. Adding only a negligible amount of weight (10 g / 0.3 oz—the weight of about two coins) over the PocketRocket 2, this ultralight deluxe version features the most durable push-start piezo igniter we’ve ever built and a broader burner head for better heat dispersion and simmering capabilities. For backpackers moving fast and light, or a quick weekend in the Cascade Mountains, this deluxe model offers one of the best cooking experiences in its ultralight class.

About MSR

MSR (Mountain Safety Research) is an American brand from Seattle, founded in 1969 by engineer and mountaineer Larry Penberthy. His vision of making mountaineering safer led to the development of technically precise equipment for extreme conditions – from cooking systems and tents to water filters.

To this day, MSR stands for innovation, reliability, and durability. Manufactured in the USA and Ireland, the brand combines engineering with responsibility towards the environment and people – for adventures you can rely on.
